Coggeshall Grange Barn is a property of The National Trust. This web site is maintained independently by volunteers and friends of the Barn and has no connection with The National Trust, other than to support its work in preserving this fine ancient building. If you have enjoyed your visit to this web site, please tell your relatives and friends. Better still, why not arrange a visit to Coggeshall Grange Barn with them? Do you have photographs or memories of Coggeshall Grange Barn at work or at play? We need your help to increase our knowledge of the uses made of the Barn during the 20th century. We would like to hear from people prepared to lend photographs and/or be interviewed for an oral history archive. Typical photos might show the Barn in agricultural use or as a location for events such as filming (e.g. The Canterbury Tales), sports days, fêtes, meetings and parties. Every care would be taken and photos would be returned (if required) after scanning. If you (or someone you know) worked at the Barn or attended such an event there, we would like to record your memories for the benefit of future generations. Please contact Brian Smith (Chairman - The Friends of Coggeshall Grange Barn) by email or telephone on 07711 970002. |
